A late post about my Saturday ride with the Big Bros -- #urbanRide thru Ortigas to BGC to Mall of Asia then QC. Meetup was at McDonald's. I intended to ride with them to BGC then turn back home... I didn't get that far. 😐
While stopped at Shell ⛽ in Ortigas I suddenly felt cold and weak. 🩸 #Jollibee was right there. I needed rest and food, so I told them to go on without me. Been a while since I last had Jollibee #longganisa. Yum! 😋 And check out the #bikeRack! 😃👍

Thursday. Went for a little ride after work. 🚴♀️ 'Twas nice and cloudy. 😊 But it kinda felt like it might rain so I didn't ride far. Only 16 km today. Still good. 😃👍
Decided to have breakfast at not-my-usual coffee shop. No hot breakfast. Their oven wasn't working. So I had a coffee jelly beverage instead. 🤷♀️🧋

At church. There is a new #bike that's been coming to #church recently and it has its own stand, not parked at the wheel bender #bikeRack. This is the second time I had to move it a few inches away from the railing, so I could park and lock my bike there. Hopefully the owner doesn't get upset. I'm guessing it's a church worker or volunteer's bike since it's there very early. #bicycles #cycling

My fave bikeable* #cafe with no #bikeRack was late opening for business so I pedaled past it and ended up at this cafe. This 1 has the wheel bender rack. Couldn't get Grey's 20" wheel in safely -- the disc was hitting the rack. I've been to this cafe a lot. Hardly any #bikes park here, so I parked sideways. 🤪
My 🟠 coily bike lock is stuck and not usable so I got my other 🔴 thick stiff lock. Had trouble getting that through Grey's wheel so it's not properly done.
It's fine.

I see a big push for bike lanes but we also need bike racks at the stores we bike to.
Does any industrial designer or graphic Artist have a good design for a bike rack system that can be put in a parking lot car stall; the way shopping cart return areas are setup in car stalls?
I wonder how many bikes could be securely parked in one car stall?

Are there any route mappers that are able to chain bike and bus trips? I was trying to route a trip using bike trails and buses with bike racks along Cape Cod and it wasn’t an easy task. Are there any #bikerack experts here? I'm looking for a good 2-bike rack for a 2023 Hyundai Elantra. I was hoping for another Saris Bones, but their website says it doesn't have any that will fit my car, and the recent amazon reviews make it seem quality has gone downhill. Suggestions? Thanks!

First time using the DuPont station bike racks. I have to look into these and if they were a really developed for the #TTC or if these are designed and made for industrial use.
They are poorly designed. Lower racks horribly ergonomic for anyone over 5' tall. Frustrating to use for any of the racks that isn't flush with the ground. Difficult to use upper level. The list goes on.

Got a lunch get-together at a restaurant about 7km away. A place I don't visit much.
As usual, I considered* riding my #bike. But it's soooooo hot. 🥵 And there's my usual concern about bike security.
A lot has changed since I last visited. They didn't have #bicycleParking before.
Looking at the crowded #bikeRack, I'm actually glad my bike isn't there roasting in the sun and scratching up against those other #bikes. 😶
