Disappointed by some behavior at #BaltimoreBikeParty last night. Witnessed a rider collide with another, destroying the rider's front wheel and sending the rider to the ground. The first rider stopped for only a few seconds before riding away.

"Spring is here, and we’re celebrating on wheels! Take over Commercial Street with Bath’s Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Transportation Committee as we kick off #NationalBikeMonth! From 12-2 pm, we’re shutting down Commercial St near Bridge Park – come revel in a car-free bike zone, visit our #BikeDoctor at Bridge Park for basic #BikeTuneUps and pumped up tires, try out Bath at Play’s obstacle course, and win a prize for Best Spring-Themed Costume. (All non-motorized wheels welcome!) At about 1:30 pm, we will set out for a short, family-friendly group ride around downtown, showing off our spring attire and jamming to some rockin’ tunes!
Interested in crafting a Spring Costume? Visit the Chocolate Church Art Lab during their open hours the week before the party: Monday and Thursday 2-5 pm (all ages) or Wednesday 5:30-7:30 (adults only)! They’ve got materials, enthusiasm, and inspiration!
Location: Bridge Park, Commercial Street Date: Sunday, May 3rd 12-2 Open Street for biking and other non-motorized wheels, free basic tune ups, learn about Bike/Ped/Transportation Committee’s work to make streets safer and more enjoyable for all.

"Riders are encouraged to assemble in the parking lot at Lone Pine Brewing starting at 10:00am. The ride will start at 10:30 am.

@epiceneVivant I love to see your biking progress! It’s fun to find a group ride to go on, too. In my city there are a couple of monthly options for a big group evening ride, usually including a dance party at the end.
