Since 16 months we are #cycling around the world 🚴♀️🚴♂️🌍 ❤️
The first months it was the new, exciting #bikepackinglife, then it became 'normal' life - obvious & totally fine! Open-end #traveling is not like #holyday... So, we have to find out how to live this new life...
We missed to take some longer breaks, now we are really in need for it.
We long for privacy, space where each of us can move alone & do things by himself, we desire good people around us to talk. We need to refill energy! -

My first trip to Tasmania is a 500km bike ride from Launceston to Hobart along the east coast. Three friends and I packed enough clothing and gear for the six day trip and are staying in the various towns along the way.
We've just finished day 3 in the lovely port town of St Helens and thoroughly enjoying the relatively independent travel, the exploration and adaptability required for a trip like this.
Tasmania's weather, infamously inclement, has been generous with cool, cosy days with low wind.
Tomorrow is on to Bicheno and Coles Bay, riding along the coast, so we'll see what that brings...

while 150 people from the paris dakar race entered the campground and it feels like eating the cake in a motorcycle workshop. noise and smell of petrol driven vehicles. we feel very small and unseen with our minimal #bikelife setup between the high equipped trucks, cars and bikes.
