But not for #bikes? #NYCbike #bikeNYC routes prioritize safety.

These are unsafe truck route 1, 2, or 3 are the options- wish they would update. (Or anyone have hints?)

City streets is an annual event where parts of Manhattan are closed off to cars. It's a great day to ride around Manhattan by bike. #bikenyc

I was biking near the queens zoo today, and adjusting the pedal-assist all the way up to 4 (which I never do). Thinking to myself, "Jesus fuck, is this headwind really that strong or is this heat just making me weak?"

I look over at the sidewalk, and someone is walking backwards to deal with the wind. "Oh, it's actually the headwind."

#QueensZoo needs to ditch these awful bike racks and install staple racks. This same amount of space could fit at least a dozen bikes, but the "wheel bender" rack is just space inefficient.

Uptown Greenway Bridge Repairs...

Fleet Week is here! It was only Tuesday evening, but we encountered sailors walking along the middle of the bike path alongside the Manhattan Cruise Terminal.

And the weather/heat is going to be a serious problem for the rest of the week!

Take it easy out there , skate peeps. Stay safe! Hyydrate!

Sunday is Pride Parade day, which means the path will be thick with pedestrians south of Chelsea Piers later in the day.

Then next weekend, July 4th and Fleet Week join up. So not only will there be pedestians on the path near the cruise terminal, there will be a crowds all over for the Tall Ship review and fireworks.
