The chain on the gravel bike is a bit rusted - I didn’t do anything after the bikepacking trip during which there was a wet day.
I just measured the chain stretch to see if it is worth cleaning it up or just replace it. Apparently it’s still good! Seriously considering just waxing the chain after degreasing and cleaning the rust!

Post-script: It took a few tries but I have successfully performed a "lever bleed" that just purges the air from an otherwise functional hydraulic brake system on a relatively new bike and now it works nicely.
So I will probably again defer taking the bike to the 100-mile tuneup the manual recommends (as I cross over 400 miles) because I don't wanna

Ever since Anna's bike came back with the replacement rear wheel I've been kind of side-eying it, the spokes feel kind of sparse and it doesn't match the front wheel and it's fine but it's different and I don't think looks as good

today i changed out the rear tyre because rainy season has started and the old treads were worn down to flat and
i did not need, like
tools?
really? to get the old tyre off? I used some levers but I probably didn't have to? Same for putting the new one on? It was super fast and easy because IT'S NOT TUBELESS READY SO IT DOESN'T REQUIRE LOCKING THE THING INTO A BLOODY VISE TO POP THE FUCKING BEAD
so now i'm all "oh, _that's_ why"
and I'm 100% on team new rear wheel xD

On today's ride, the center suspension on my bike broke and I was a bit far from home, so I felt like the bike was heavy because the suspension was stuck as if it was carrying its maximum weight. Luckily I was able to return... but in the meantime, I'll have to go to the workshop once more... 😔😮💨🚲 #bikemaintenance #biketooter

Time to dust off my bike and start riding again. (Well, not just dust off, but make sure things are clean, tires are up, etc.). Once the water tank at the #CommunityGarden gets filled up (they really should get a #rainbarrel, which I had suggested), I can just ride my bike over and water and weed! With plush pal Phil the Baphomet in tow.
