  1. Lumos, the company that makes my bike helmet with built-in lights, has a new model coming that looks super cool.

It has lights, though they are more subtle. Instead, the entire helmet is basically a canvas where you can add a custom design. Dang, if I hadn't recently upgraded my helmet I'd be all over this.

    This is really interesting

#bike safety attire disguises people as highly visible non-humans?

    Winning strategy! 🦺💀

Great insight though, that could lead to safety breakthroughs

I’m curious what “human” looking cyclists would have to look like to satisfy dangerous drivers 🫤

I wonder if putting eyes on the back of #BikeHelmets would help?

Like they put eyes on the back of helmets to prevent people from getting attacked by tigers 🐯

  3. Where in #London has a good selection of #bikeHelmets for #cycling ? I need a new lid & want to try a few on to find one that’s not too mushroomy on my skinny head

I saw this story about #ebike safety yesterday and shared it with a friend who’s shopping for one 🚴

I am encouraging them to get one, but want to know what safety features to look for?

Also, are any #BikeHelmets better for ebikes than others?

#Bike helmets aren’t anywhere near as protective as motorcycle helmets ⛑️

  5. @codewiz here in #Bodø they recently introduced #ebike rental stations. After registering online, you can take out a bike from one of the stands and park them at any of the other rental stands across the city. Haven't used them yet myself, but @Siiw definitely enjoyed their convenience during an #Ingress event where she had to visit a large number of unique portals.
#bikeHelmets weren't much of a thing as I grew up in the #Netherlands, but as traffic increased, so did their adoption.
