New sentence I spoke before bed*. "Would you mind turning off the fake birds, s’il vous plait" to my campsite neighbours who had one of those basic ass bitches throw a bird song loop on their bluetooth speaker when they went to sleep.
I threw in the french as I'd been eavestroughing on their Quebecois franglais asses all evening

I am bike camping again. I have so much cat7 ethernet on me this time it's ridiculous.
(Hauling the cable and assorted networking bits up to my father-in-laws to address some weak wifi as it's an old farmhouse made of thicc stone that eats wifi)

#TodaysRide I WENT BIKE CAMPING AGAIN. Was able to snag a spot at Selkirk Provincial Park on Lake Erie. GO Train to the Hammer then half rail trail, half country roads to the park. Felt cheeky and took the Brompton. Return ride had me in a Ride to Conquer Cancer pelaton for a minute :D. GOOD. TIMES. #BikeTooter #Brompton #BikeCamping

I bought a bike trailer! now I can hopefully go camping this summer with my ebike :drgn_sparkle:
I think I'm going to add some sealant to the base right away, that way it won't get wet inside if it ends up raining in the summer

Loaded up the bike yesterday afternoon and rode to the nearest state park, McKinney Falls. There were thunderstorms in the area, but I dodged them apparently. My first attempt at #bikecamping !
Of course, I got campsite #42. #BikeTooter -
Tag 9 (und Etappe 8) meiner #Bodenseeumrundung mit dem #Brompton waren heute dann noch die ca. 25km von Beringen dem Tal und der Bahn entlang zu meinen Eltern in Lauchringen.
In #Hallau bin ich noch an ein paar #Oldtimer-Landmaschinen auf einer Gewerbeschau begegnet.
Insgesamt war ich ca. 350km in 7.5 Tagen unterwegs mit Tagesetappen zwischen 25 und knapp 80 Kilometern.
Achja:

Ist das eine Zustandsmeldung oder eine Tautologie? 🤔🤪

Tag 3 meiner #Bodenseeumrundung mit dem #Brompton ging von Uttwil bei #Romanshorn bis zum Schilfgürtel #Rohrspitz im #Rheindelta (dem im #Bodensee 😉) bzw. dem dortigen Campingplatz #Salzmann. 40km, 99hm

Sodele, wieder zuhause. Knapp 88km und unerwartete 817 Höhenmeter. Das Navi meinte, ich sei heute mehr Höhenmeter gefahren als damals das Val Verzasca rauf (811hm). Und das, obwohl ich doch eigentlich die Hügelketten vom Hinweg vermeiden wollte! Aber die Radwege gingen recht oft dann doch nicht unten am Fluss entlang, sowohl am #Hallwylersee entlang als auch nachher die Velowege 34 und 66.
Hatte in Lenzburg noch an einem Stand kurz noch was z'Abig geholt.

Bin dann kurz vor 19 Uhr auf dem Campingplatz Seeblick in #MosenLU am Südende vom #HallwylerSee angekommen. Das #Hilleberg #Anjan2GT ist aufgebaut und hat sogar Stromversorgung zum Laden von E-Bile-Akku, Akkulämpchen und Händi.
Bisher nix vergessen, aber ich hätte mehr zu trinken mitnehmen können. Muss morgen definitiv meine Flaschen wieder auffüllen bzw. am #slowUp Nachschub holen.

Bin übrigens wieder gut zuhause angekommen. Meine 1. Mehrtagestour mit #SeatPostHugger und #CroozerCargo #Lastenanhänger am #Brompton bzw. mein 1. #BikeCamping seit langem hat richtig Spaß gemacht, auch wenn's zum #LuxCamp in #Brüttisellen und zurück nur 28km waren. Retour bin ich entlang dem #Chriesbach u. dann schon ab Bhf. Stettbach oben den #Veloweg45 am Waldrand entlang. Wusste gar nicht, dass Dübendorf und Schwamendingen solch entspannte Radwege durch die Natur haben.

Camping by bicycle for the first time in my life. This Hiker-Biker camping area is lovely and way more natural looking and private than the rest of the campground. And I'm the only one in it!

Get a siltarp and some paracord. Silicone coated nylon tarp. It's the first thing to go up in the rain. Get under it and sort everything else out. Mine's from MEC in Canada. But it doesn't matter what brand. 8x8 is good size for 2 people. Very compact and light. -

We also biked to Tennessee beach, which was a bit of a challenge with my city bike which I use for everything - had to walk it in a couple places due to either steep downhills where I couldn't get traction or just like big chunks of chert that we had to cross

Went bike camping this weekend at Haypress
It was my second time there. It's in a valley within Tennessee Valley, we biked in via Sausalito.
Saw lots of different birds including a lot of quail (in the photo), some rabbits, and a deer.
