  1. These #GyroGrip Pro printing plates from #Bigtreetech are really awesome! PLA adheres so firmly that I had to really abuse this plate to get the print off. Unfortunately, it ended up with a few unsightly deep scratches. 😟

  2. Always interesting. If I want to buy something from #Bigtreetech / #BIQU, I put it in my shopping basket and leave it there for the time being.

A few days later I get a reminder to complete the purchase after all, together with a 5% coupon code. And if I leave it further, sometimes I even get a 10% coupon code.

    Every time. 😃

  3. If you're trying to switch your Panda Touch to the K-Touch firmware: just follow the standard OTA procedure and load the firmware.bin and img files. The other 2 files on the Github are apparently not necessary, and you also do not need to use their Windows-only flashing tool. #BigTreeTech #3DPrinting #Klipper

  4. Maybe time to switch the #BigTreeTech Panda Touch over to #Klipper usage? I only ever use it for monitoring purposes and I have plenty of ways to do that.

My Klipper printers on the other hand could use an actual interface that isn’t a phone. #3DPrinting

  5. @layered Nice, I appreciated that level of communication. I started to dislike #BigTreeTech for their lack of reactions on Bug reports on the SKR Mini, but this increases my personal rating quite a bit again.

  6. Bummer! It seems that #BigTreeTech is currently working on a replacement board for #BambuLab #X1C printers (running Klipper), to fix that dreadful firmware desaster. 😳

  7. Haha... Sometimes it pays off to leave things in your shopping cart for a bit. #BigTreeTech had sent me an email reminding me to complete my purchase. And now I got another email, this time with a discount code. 😃

  8. Well, I’m done. Just finished the „Panda Touch Dock" project, made lots of photos, wrote a documentation and published all on #Makerworld.

    Have fun printing! 😎
PLEASE spread the word and boost it as much as you can. 🙏

  9. I have an inside pool. 😃
This new print plate by #BigTreeTech looks awesome!

  10. I've kind of been saving this -
I made a trip up to #Columbus #Ohio this morning, because #Microcenter has the #Anycubic #Kobra3 #3Dprinter Before i went up I reversed it online, just so I knew I wouldn't be wasting a trip up.
And I also decided to look to see what they had on clearance.....
    And I found 2 #Biqu #Bigtreetech 3d printers, one was $80.00 and one was $56.00

I didn't really need 3 brand new printers, but at that price it's hard to pass them up.

  11. For three months now, I've had a #P1S in addition to my #BambuLab #X1C. I've had the Panda Touch Display from #BigTreeTech since January of this year. It's a great device. But now it's time to find its place on the P1S.

For this purpose, I have designed a dock that can be tilted with a hinge, similar to the one on the X1C. I have missed this feature in all the docks and mounts that have been available so far.

  12. Just arrived: Panda Touch von #BigtreeTech. Nur echt mit Quietscheente. 😍

  13. My „Bambu Touch“ display by #BigtreeTech is on its way.

*Restlessly tribbeling back and forth* 🙄

  14. I watercooled my #3Dprinter so you don't have to! Actually, watercooling your extruder isn't as insane as you may think! Check out this #BigTreeTech kit to enable 500C printing on pretty much any budget printer!

  15. I got stuck, troubleshooting my #BTT #BigTreeTech #Octopus 1.1 mainboard, installed in newly assembled #RatRig #V-core #3Dprinter, running #RatOS aka #Klipper.

Both #nozzle (#extruder) #heater and #hotbed one do not warm up. Beyond all doubt (using external power sources and hairdryer) I confirmed that both thermistors, heaters and wiring are ok.

Under warranty, RatRig sent me replacement board, which I configured, flashed with updated firmware and got the same error.
I also tried to redirect the nozzle heater power to another pin (see in the config file at lib.tepewu.pl/f/8f1d29fe05d44c…) where I hooked up the multimeter. Nothing happened, when I set up nozzle temp to 50*C - after timeout I had the same error "extruder is not heating fast enough", thus klipper shutdown.

I cannot believe to have such a bad luck to got two boards with the same hardware fault (especially that steppers and hotbed probe work perfectly), so it is something I do not know - and I run out of ideas.

Please, somebody suggest something new. Hjalp.

  20. Looking at my reassembled Ender 5 Plus I realised that I never got around to submitting a PR with my configuration to the Marlin configuration project. With a gap in contracts looming I guess I’ll have time next month 😀 #3DPrinting #Ender5Plus #BigTreeTech #Microswiss

  21. After way too long, I finally got my BTT SFS v2.0 working with a BTT SKR E3 mini V3:
Black and green plug goes into PWR-DET. Red and blue go into E0-stop.
After that, be sure to set the state to HIGH not LOW if you're using Marlin 2.1.x
    FIL_RUNOUT_PIN PC12
    FIL_MOTION1_PIN PC15

that little bit of knowledge took me about three days of messing around to figure out.

Docs on this combination of hardware seem to be non-existent. #3dprinting #filament #marlin #bigtreetech #btt

  22. I printed this. 3.5kg of pla and PLA+. 135+ hours of printing. 5oz of 5-minute epoxy holding the pieces together.
Mostly printed on an ender3 retrofitted with an ender extender 400xl kit, a btt e3 mini skr V3, and an 0.8 nozzle. 0.4 layers at 50mm/sec. Oh, and a creality abl sensor. #creality #ender3 #enderextender #bigtreetech #3dprinting

  23. This afternoon I shall be configuring my #Ender5Plus and running a test print now that the #BigTreeTech #SKR2 board is installed and wired up correctly.

  24. I’ve at last found some time to troubleshoot the #BigTreeTech SKR 2 I installed into the #Creality #Ender5Plus at Christmas.

I removed all the cables and then reconnected them one at a time, turning the power on afterwards and waiting to see what happened.

Everything worked fine, until I got to the last thing to connect, the BLTouch module. As soon as the three-wire connector was plugged in, the board started shutting down again.
