Goodbye, August and Hello September

Hey, guys. Long time, but no see.

I wanna tell you that I’m going to order my new wireless keyboard tomorrow when my check drops. And by next week I will be able to work on my novels and finish them by the end of the year. And the first story on my list to compete is “Nacirema Requiem” as I plan on reaching 40 chapters and the epilogue. I’ll also work on “Of Couture and Supers” as well as “The Passion of Sean Gillain.” So as we’re saying farewell to August, we will be welcoming September’s sensational allure.

The drama is ALWAYS on at the House of Evers, friends, and I intend to shut things down for the rest of 2026! Thanks for being patient with me as I deal with my day job and all. I love you and I hope guys are living life like it’s golden! See you later!

“Unscripted Jarrick Exum” is LIVE

So…this author blog has a new spinoff blog as of today. And I am proud to say that the first post is officially out to give you all a taste of what’s to come!

“Unscripted Jarrick Exum” is the blog that will feature my authentic side of me as a content creator and author with autism. This blog will feature the highs, lows, and in-between parts of who I am as well as my take on current events (national news, politics, etc) as well as some of quips on what’s going on in my head at the moment. Bottom line? “Unscripted” is going to be raw, real, and unapologetically authentic.

Now as with this blog, I can’t guarantee that I will update everyday due to my day job and all. But I will be keeping things fresh, consistent, and even a bit quirky. And I hope you guys join me for the fun as a new chapter begins.

As for this blog, it will still go forward as planned, but I am going to be making some changes regarding my goals as a novelist. As seasons change, so do the priorities. And I am hoping you join me for what’s to come. Details will be announced at a later date, but I hope you will join me for this new era. Have a great weekend, my friends, and I will see you later! “The Passion of Sean Gillain” Returns: Sean Gillain in His Own Words

After several months of radio silence, the story returns with a new voice and a new flavor!

Just my luck!

My family is known to pull low-blows on me, but them selling the family farm (with Grandpa and Grandma’s blessing) is the lowest of the low. Even for their standards. Not only that, they went and filed a college application behind my back, and in Newport, Rhode Island, of all places yet! The sad fact of it all was that it was all done even as I was recovering from a health scare that landed me in the hospital right after my high-school graduation.

If I had any real say, I’d fight everyone to get the farm and family home back. Unfortunately, I didn’t. The worse part of it all, however, is that I’ll be moving in with my gay uncle and his family who will make sure that I focus on having fun and enjoy the city life as a college kid while monitoring my health. So, what’s a brother to do at this point? Well, I can only make the most of this situation and go with the flow. But one thing will be mandatory: passions will not be on my agenda since I viewed them to be distracting and unnecessary. What I need is routine and order, not pointless fantasies or falling for my cousins’ friends. I have my standards, after all. Just sayin’.

“The Passion of Sean Gillain” has returned to Wattpad as I get things back on track. But this time, I am going to give the story a more dramatic yet flavorful storyline. The first 7 chapters are available EXCLUSIVELY on Wattpad right now, but chapters 8 and 9 will be republished tomorrow afternoon. After that, new chapters return beginning this Saturday.

You’ll never forget the first time! TPSG is back for the Summer Wattpad Games, and you’re going to want more and more! Don’t miss it!

“The Guardian of Couture” Teaser Promo, Part One

Couture Magazine isn’t just a fashion bible — it’s a battleground. Behind the glossy covers and celebrity spreads lies a world where interns are tested beyond coffee runs and copy machines. From clogged toilets to 24/7 on-call chaos, survival means shedding illusions and stepping into the fire.

But the real test? The Primal Premiere. That’s when the staff — those impossibly beautiful, retro-glasses-wearing editors — reveal their true selves. And if you’re not ready for what’s underneath, you’re not ready for Couture.

I should know. I lived it.

My name is Alcide Lancaster. I survived the summer internship that changed everything — spandex, secrets, Fashion Week madness, and the September Issue. I uncovered a legacy my grandparents once protected, one my family rejected. But I embraced it, with allies, love, and legends by my side.

This is my story.

You’ll never forget the first time.
Exclusively on Wattpad, hitting the runway May 2026. Don’t miss it!

I'm full of enthusiasm with an ambitious vision for this year, though it's still somewhat in its infancy. On one hand, I yearn for a detailed plan, mapping out each step with precision, yet on the other, I'm keen to dive into the adventure and discover where it takes me. I want to grant myself the freedom to adjust and enjoy this journey. #BigPlans #Flexibility #2025Goals
