I was interested in getting a F150 Lightning because of its bidirectional charging capabilities but the cost of the truck and the cost of the Ford's Charging Station (already included if you get the extended range Lightning) and Ford's Home Integration system plus the cost of upgrading your electrical panel (if necessary) to 100 amps could cost $10-15k on top of the typical $80-100k asking price for the truck. So, I decided to pass on that idea. LOL! 😉

Now I'm fantasizing about #BidirectionalCharging being required on all EVs and we have a #SmartGrid, and whenever they're connected to a charger when the sun isn't providing excess solar, their batteries are being used to power everyone else and drawn down to 100 miles of range instead of being charged.
