Day 30 #30DaysOfBiking: It's officially a wrap! Despite a downpour in the night and forecast for high chance of rain, I got to ride to HQ at 7:40am and back to home office at 12:30pm without putting on rain gear. Brisk breeze made me glad I was moving myself, e-bike saved me from being late for an 8:00 a.m. meeting with that little extra boost when I needed it.

Day 23 #30DaysOfBiking: A fun ride, bundled up for early morning chill. Last night after improv class there was an art show in the same building getting ready for Art Walk this weekend. Saw a painting I liked, had them hold it for me. This morning I biked back down with a check for the artist. Picture stays up till Sunday when the show is done. Day 22 #30DaysOfBiking: Rode to my evening improv class at the parks/rec center, which lets me park my bike inside (super awesome). Sunny day warm on my face, sweet-smelling blooming trees and bushes and flowers, heard a red-winged blackbird call and saw it high in a tall tree. Y'know, the things I don't experience if I drive.

Day 19 #30DaysOfBiking: Sunny ride to the farmstand again. Absolutely LOVE our neighborhood location! Parks, water, farms, good bakery, my doctor offices and downtown all an easy walk or bike ride. It's a 15-minute city by bike-- well, 17 to the doc, farther to my hairdresser, but all bikeable or I could take transit 5 minutes from my front door. So lucky!

Day 18 #30DaysOfBiking: Quick lap around my neighborhood loop to check the box before the end of the day feeling the wind in my hair and looking at the blooming trees and hearing the birds and smiling at neighbors. Come to think of it, that does more than check the box.

Day 17 #30DaysOfBiking: Today was Go Orange day at my agency for work zone safety awareness. My orange garb went from professional during the day (walked to the nearby rhododendron park at lunch for the pic) to casual after work when I rode with my sweetheart to a local farmstand (scored fresh eggs and a big bunch of asparagus).

Day 15 #30DaysOfBiking: Rode to a meeting, then the office, then to improv class at the end of the day, then home. Sunny with cold brisk wind. Delightful even if my ears felt like potato chips in the morning.
Day 16: To the office again and back again. Slightly warmer, still very windy.
