MY NOTES / TLDR's:
1/ "Bibliogram can still be used to view individual posts," and can be forked.
2/ Need to support people like this - our own better advertising or partnerships with small and little things (not just money but other rewarding things
3/ Can imagine it getting boring - we can't always go it alone or separate. Uniting as one of the aims else it's isolated as project!
3/ It's natural to end things "let go or be dragged" and let others fork it.

==================="Hi everyone, I'm discontinuing Bibliogram. I'm doing this because I just don't want to work on it anymore. It's very depressing because I'm working against a hostile system and a hostile company, and not very rewarding since I do not personally care about anyone/anything on Instagram.
It's a chore that Instagram is continuously and actively trying to stop me from doing. I have been thinking about this for a couple of weeks. There will maybe be one more commit for personal use and one more commit that public instances can use to display a discontinued message and remove user lookup functionality. Bibliogram can still be used to view individual posts, which is pretty cool, so having it as just a post viewer will be its future - until that breaks too.
Bibliogram is still really good code to work on if anybody wants to try to fix collecting the data from Instagram. You can write a new function (or edit an existing one) in collectors.js to make an upstream request, and then you can parse the response using whatever you want, and return a User structure. You're welcome to maintain a fork if you fix this, but if you plan to upload your fork to GitHub, *please* also edit the readme. (While you're at it, I'd suggest a name change to reduce the risks of legal action - Bibliograph is a name that's been floating in my head for a while that you can use if you'd like.)I have not received any legal demands and there are no legal restrictions on Bibliogram or its code besides the AGPL.."

@diarra you may use UntrackMe "UntrackMe once set by default to open Twitter, YouTube and Instagram links will transform them into Nitter, #Invidious and Bibliogram links and delegate the action to another app.
It also supports #GoogleMaps links to transform them into #OpenStreetMap links or Geo URI."
i'm not sure, but #Nitter and #Bibliogram don't work anymore as far as i know; #Invidious does (only some instances don't work anymore) -

Mourning the loss of #bibliogram, as I've been doing my best to collect alternative front-ends for a lot of privacy-disrespecting platforms.
Maybe one day there will be a big shift to the fediverse and all of the silos will be forgotten and left rusting, but for now I'd like to be able to access these silos without having to sell my digital soul to Zuckerberg or Musk.

Me acabo de enterar que el proyecto #bibliogram (que nos permitia acceder a cuentas y mensajes de la red #metaBigBrother #instagrama) desde hace algun tiempo dejo de actualizarse por las mismas razones de siempre...
A #SUCKerberg no le gusta dar acceso a nadie que no quiera pagar su precio -

The main #nitter instance has been a bit sad lately, either overheating itself, or being rate limited to oblivion. The good thing is it finally pushed me to spin up my own and while I was at it I also got a #ProxiTok and #bibliogram. I'll probably rarely use those two, but it's still nice to have them.

Services like #Nitter, #Bibliogram, Open Street #Maps and the countless private #search engines are great but if you interact with normal people you will always end up on the original site as someone will send you a link, how about we fix that by just redirecting to where we want to go.

C'est l'une des raisons pour lesquelles j'hésite toujours à partager des liens de services intermédiaires (proxys).
Non seulement tu t'exposes a ce que le service principal modifie les règles d'accès a tout moment mais en plus du jour au lendemain tu peux te retrouver avec des dizaines de liens que t'as partagé qui ne fonctionnent plus...

Buondì, ho frequentato fin dalla loro nascita molti spazi di condivisione foto (Flickr, Instagram, Blipfoto, Photoblog, solo per citarne alcuni) e li conosco bene. Pix. è buono ma permettetemi una osservazione. Per non cadere nello schifo di Instagram, consiglierei di non condividere nel Feed Home materiale non legato alle foto personali. Trovo antipatico vedere immagini, vignette e altro che nulla ha a che fare con foto personali. Accettatelo come #feedback
