KOINE TYPEFACE: Last week I paid for my first typeface. One that changes biblical Greek text to look like handwritten Koine Greek of the period. The guy who sold it to me also gave me some pointers on how to make it more historically accurate but removing the spaces and getting all the lines fully justified by squishing the words in.

MAPS 2: When maps are confusing it's time to call in the big guns! One helped me realise a Roman Province and a region are not the same. Some of the areas named in the Bible are just regions within a Province, a distraction most Bible cartographers have not realised.

I noticed different sources put the Roman province borders in different places and some of the cities were a bit out of place. Lots and lots of overlapped maps. Because maps are 2D and the globe is round you have to weirdly distort the maps to get them together sometimes.
