Shiri, Ariel und Kfir sind tot, von der Hamas ermordet. Eine junge Frau und zwei kleine Kinder, die einfach nur Musik hören und tanzen wollten. Jarden Bibas, Ehemann und Vater, muss mit dieser Last und der Traumatisierung durch lange Gefangenschaft leben.
Auch der Leichnam des bei der Geiselnahme 83jährigen Oded Lifshitz wurde nach Israel gebracht. Er war Journalist und Menschenrechtsaktivist und fuhr palästinensische Kranke in israelische Krankenhäuser. Seine Frau Jocheved kam bei der ersten Geiselbefreiung am 23. Oktober 2023 frei. Sie hat vermutlich bis vor kurzem noch gehofft, ihren Mann lebendig wiederzusehen.
Die Hamas behauptet, wie immer, das war sie nicht. Die seien durch israelische Bomben getötet worden. Mal angenommen, die Hamas hätte hier ausnahmsweise die Wahrheit gesagt – Israel hätte nicht bombardiert, wenn die Hamas nicht ein unbeschreibliches Massaker unter friedlich feiernden Israelis angerichtet hätte und zahlreiche Geiseln genommen hätte, um in israelischen Gefängnissen sitzende verurteilte Gangster freizupressen. Wahrscheinlicher ist allerdings, dass die Hamas lügt wie üblich.
Und unter jeder Meldung, in der es irgendwie um Israel geht, selbst unter der Nachricht vom Tod kleiner Kinder, tummeln sich antisemitische Kommentatoren. Ich bin inzwischen so weit, dass ich bei denen mit arabischen Namen schon denke, die können nicht anders, die sind von früher Kindheit an miserabel erzogen. Aber gleich verlogene und boshafte Kommentare kommen auch von Menschen, die in der westlichen Welt aufgewachsen sind, eine gute Schulbildung haben und keine arabischen Wurzeln haben.
Und es ist nicht nur im Internet so. Ich habe innerhalb einer Woche zweimal erlebt, dass mein ganz harmloser Ausdruck der Freude über die Befreiung einiger Geiseln der Hamas sofort beantwortet wurde mit dem Aufruf, doch auch an die armen Palästinenser zu denken. Beim ersten Mal noch mit dem Zusatz, Israel habe ja auch Dreck am Stecken.
Beide Male sagte ich, Israel hat niemals friedlich feiernde Palästinenser überfallen, viele von ihnen ermordet, Schwangere aufgeschlitzt, Kinder enthauptet, Erwachsene verstümmelt, Lebende und Tote vergewaltigt und Geiseln genommen, von denen mittlerweile auch zahlreiche ermordet wurden, darunter Kinder. Beide Male wurde dieser Einwand übergangen.
Das ist giftig, boshaft, ungerecht, widerlich. Nein, ich denke nicht an die „armen Palästinenser“, wenn ich an die abgemagerten, traumatisierten Israelis denke, die lange Zeit ohne jede Information über ihre Lieben gefangen waren und an die unfassbare Trauer der Überlebenden. Sondern ich denke dann allenfalls an ihre teuflisch bösen palästinensischen Entführer.
Ich habe auch kein Mitleid mit überführten Gewalttätern, darunter Terroristen, die aus israelischen Gefängnissen freigepresst wurden. Ich finde es auch nicht schlimm, jugendlichen Gewalttätern den Prozess zu machen und sie einzusperren. Wer als 16Jähriger mehrfach Menschen absichtlich schwer verletzt, kommt auch in Deutschland zu Recht hinter Gitter. Soviel zum häufigen Vorwurf, die Israelis sperren palästinensische Kinder ein.
Ja aber das sind doch auch Menschen, mit Menschenrechten, und da muss man doch Mitleid haben…
Nein, muss man nicht. Wenn alle Geiseln befreit sind, alle Palästinenser Gaza verlassen haben und alle Terroristen für den Rest ihres Lebens in Hochsicherheitsgefängnissen sitzen, dann habe ich Zeit, für ihre Seelen zu beten. Vorher tue ich das nur sehr selten und kurz, und immer mit einem leisen Unbehagen.
Mit dem Geld, das von Israel, Deutschland und den USA nach Gaza gepumpt wurde, hätte Gaza zu einem blühenden Land werden können mit solider Infrastruktur, zauberhaften Naturschutzgebieten und schönen Hotels, mit guten Bildungsstätten und Krankenhäusern. Statt zu terrorisieren, hätten die Palästinenser sich von Israel zeigen lassen können, wie man eine Halbwüste blühen lässt und ein Urlaubsparadies aus dem Gazastreifen macht. Stattdessen benutzte die Hamas das Geld für Tunnelbau, Waffen und den Luxus ihrer Führer.
Die Möglichkeit der friedlichen Koexistenz von Israel und Palästina bestand jahrzehntelang. Am 7. Oktober 2023 wurde diese Möglichkeit für immer zerschlagen von einer barbarischen Horde Irrer, die sich Ḥarakat al-muqāwama al-islāmiyya, Islamische Widerstandsbewegung, kurz Hamas nennt.
Ich bin als Christin aufgefordert, meine Feinde zu lieben. Tatsächlich wünsche ich jedem Terroristen und jedem Hamas-Sympathisanten Reue und Umkehr, schon weil dann Frieden würde. Mehr Feindesliebe steht mir nicht zur Verfügung.
Ich bete für Israel, für die Geiseln der Hamas, für die von der Hamas Ermordeten und deren Angehörige und Freunde, außerdem für die verfolgte Christenheit (da geht’s meist um muslimische und auch um sozialistische und kommunistische Länder), um Frieden und Gerechtigkeit. Mehr kann ich nicht.
Der Herr nehme Shiri, Ariel, Kfir und alle Ermordeten in Sein Reich auf. „Der Frieden schafft in den Höhen, Er schaffe Frieden unter uns und in ganz Israel.“
