Over the past few months, I've started using #Bézier curves in #Blender and also #GreasePencil. In my free time, I've been trying to get better at it, so I've worked on creating some fonts (which I still need to finish), as well as recreating existing logos and coming up with a few original ones.

Loft 2 curves, control the loft with other guide curves and deform the loft with a third sweep curve. All editable in real time thanks to Geometry Nodes.

After starting to mess around with #Bézier curves in #Blender and Inkscape, I tried them out in #Plasticity and #Rhino too, and now I’ve decided I’m definitely using them whenever I’m working with #NURBS surfaces. A single-span degree-3 curve lets me make pretty much any shape with the fewest points possible and get perfectly smooth surfaces… plus there are a bunch of other perks! #CAD #b3d

Dear #OpenSCAD users: is there any way to define a real #Bezier curve with OpenSCAD ?
My current understanding is that there are functions for some geometric figures (straight lines, circles…) but not for Bezier. #BOSL2 provides Bezier helpers but apparently, they only approximate a curve with 16 straight segments, right ?
Does this mean I should stick to #FreeCAD if I want smooth and parametric Bezier curves ?
