Sometimes I want raised bezels on touchscreen devices. I certainly liked them on my e-readers. It was a good way to have a grip on the device without touching the screen, a good rubbery grip. Also a bit of protection for the screen. Did users really ask for this bezel-less trend?
I also miss the page-flip buttons.
