My meager graphic designs skills manage for a lot of things, but not quite this time.

I want to make a cute lil logo reminiscent of the famous white stag sign in Portland for the PDX beybladers! And this isn't horrible but things are remotely as smooth in the lines as I'd like. And I know I'm missing some potential artsy things to make it kinda match the beyblade it's inspired by.

Probably one of those things I just gotta get an artist for I suppose. But hey, guess I got concept art for when I do?

I didn't get far, had to face one of the best in our scene right at the beginning, but I did not let him get out of it easily. Kept it darn close, made him sweat!

It feels so good to reach this goal. I know I can do it again, and am excited to keep competing!

I got 9th Place today! AHHHHH! Just one spot away from top cut!

Rose Bride Dual - Beyblade Tournament Format

Each competitor is presented with 3 roses. Competitors must wage roses in matches against each other. After a certain amount of time, those with the most roses move on to top cut.

From there, a bracket takes place as expected. Winner gets a beyblade and a Duelist ring that looks like it's from Utena.

I woke up and did even more beyblade testing. Still had a blast, but poor Aegis is... Not the "maybe useable" I thought it was going to be.

I cursed myself lmao. I went 2-3. Bluntly, a chunk of that was my fault. I missed a trick launch and wasn't assertive in my positioning as I should have been in one match.

However, I am finally starting to run into my cat's favorite Beyblade actively hampering my results a good bit too. This Tuesday, I might get a new bit to try it out on. If performance improves, I'll keep going with it. If not, it'll be my beyblade necklace for events to keep her energy with me.

Cuz like, I wanna have fun, but I don't wanna actively kinda lose and do bad when I know I could do better!

Pretty excited for something a bit more on the fun side where I get to run beys I normally can't and still be competitive. Brewing up a fun team that'll look slick as heck~

Just found a second region banning Bullet Griffon for stadium damage reasons. Oof... This is uh. Not going to be a fun one to litigate I got a feeling.

Well jeez, brand new Beyblade Bullet Griffon is catching a ban in some places already. Seems it may be causing damage to stadiums.

This is going to be a real controversial choice if it catches on. It's looking like it might be a very meta relevant bey and quite strong in general. People won't like a new bey with a very fun gimmick being banned so fast.

It was a great time! Slowly wearing in my new left spin bey (it needs to get really worn to work as good as possible).

For sure was winning more practice matches today which I certainly don't hate! Maybe that means next Tuesday's tournament will look a bit better for me.
