This movie is formulaic, but only because it knows better than to fuck with the formula. Nobody does Axel Foley like Eddie Murphy, and he’s in too great a shape, mentally and physically, to be passing no goddamn torch.

New Episode!

This week we discuss Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, as well as "The Bikeriders", a new film inspired by the photo-book of the same name by Danny Lyon

For you GenX'ers, 'Beverly Hills Cop Axel F' is gonna be way better than the rating suggests.

From the moment the 'Axel F' theme kicks in, the story reminds me a little of Top Gun Maverick in that it's about the next generation, but there's a lot of fan service... enough that you're gonna be uttering lines during the movie as characters say them.

It's gonna be great. 😂

'Beverly Hills Cop' stars reunite after 30 years for new film

Please tell me that I'm not the only clueless GenX idiot that didn't realize that "Beverly Hills Cop Axel F" was exclusively a Netflix film and not available in the theaters.

❌ Bad : Too old to get used to streaming delivery & still buying movie tix from Fandango.
✅ Good : Old enough to have the disposable income to already have most streaming services.

Seen "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F" on Netflix yet?
