I had never until today looked up the history/origin/background of Björk's "It's Oh So Quiet."

I knew vaguely it wasn't like a 100% Björk original or had some other associations, etc…

And god damn. If it doesn't make EVERYTHING MAKE SENSE that this was first a big hit for Betty Hutton. Context, context, context. I get it now. I get it. I pretended to get it before. I actually get it now.
