Today is Refugee Rights Day in Canada, celebrated each year on April 4th, the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s 1985 ruling that stated that the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms protects the fundamental rights of refugees, guaranteeing them the right to an oral hearing.#RefugeeRightsDay #BetterTogetherCanada #SupportRefugees #Canada #refugees

While we see politicians abroad spread lies to turn neighbour against neighbour, here in Canada we reject those who use divide and conquer tactics to distract us while chipping away at the healthcare and services we all need and letting housing prices spiral. -
