always incredible how thoroughly the #crypto industry's fake numbers manage to permeate through the journalistic class... here's Dennis Kelleher from #BetterMarkets, a consumer advocacy group, talking to an @axios reporter who right out of the gate parrots the completely fake "20% of americans" number in her theoretically unbiased questioning.

The real number of americans who've touched crypto in the past year as measured by the best survey is 7% and only 1% of americans used it for *anything* other than speculation according to the federal survey, the best survey we have by a mile.
