I have known my oldest friend since we were at nursery school together: that’s about fifty two years! The joke is always that we’ve known each other for so long that we have forgotten which one of us is the bad influence! Tomorrow is his stag night and I will be his best man. He has organised his own stag night because he thought that if I was left in charge then things might have gotten a little bit out of hand!
