On Monday my mother was granted leave by a high court judge to have her case heard against Cork City Coroner who refused an inquest into baby William’s death. A medical report by a leading neonatologist said that in 1960 William couldn’t have been diagnosed with what it says on his death Cert and in his opinion the baby was neglected. #JusticeForWilliam #Bessborough #MotherAndBabyHomes

Unbelievable. The company MWB Two Ltd. who’s application to build on the #Bessborough grounds was refused have now put an appeal in. This was Cork City Council’s letter to @carmelcantwell — this appeal must not be allowed.

MWB Two Ltd are applying for planning again via Cork City Council No:2241568 for apartments at #Bessboro that will overlook a very peaceful place that has become the unofficial memorial for the women & children that died.
