Ok fine, I'm on this #Mahler kick. Started this morning with Claudio Abbado's 1st with the CSO, followed by Bernstein 's 1st with the #NewYorkPhilharmonic . To my surprise, I prefer the #bernstein .
I know, I know, Bernstein was SUCH a showman, but his flamboyance really works with the grandeur of humble Gustav.#BernardHaitink and the #ConcertgebouwOrchestra have been my "GoTo" for Mahler since I was a kid, but here I am, expanding my alleged horizons.
