#nowreading The Pagan Lord, book 7 of the Saxon Chronicles. Also book 8 of my 50-book #Goodreads reading challenge for this year. I want to finish the whole series this year because I really need to read more fiction and historical fiction hits that right spot between fiction and my love for history books.

I finally finished reading all the Pittacus Lore books after the final pages of Chasing Monsters and Killing Giants. I want more Lorien stories — this has been my guilty pleasure for YA.
But I am #nowreading Bernard Cornwell’s Death of Kings. Hail Uhtred, son of Uhtred, son of Uhtred, son of Uhtred….

I've been listening to Nicola Griffith's “Hild” based on a mention of it by @timbray and thoroughly enjoying it.
Makes me want to re-listen to (or read) Bernard Cornwell's "Winter King”, “Enemy of God”, “Excalibur” trilogy again. Which is a very good re-interpretation of the Arthur legend/story.

Late evenings at work are good for one thing and that is getting through audiobooks!
Finished Sharpe's Sword by #BernardCornwell which is the 14th book in the series and it is always a great adventure. Rupert Farley's voice is now as much Richard Sharpe as Sean Bean's is.
I normally don't spend my #Audible credits on anything under 8 hours, but #StarWars The High Republic: A Test of Courage by Justina Ireland was far more enjoyable than I ever expected.

Yay. Exciting news. The adaptation of Bernard Cornwell's Winter king trilogy about King Arthur has started filming. The cast list looks great. Can't wait. https://www.itv.com/presscentre/press-releases/arthurian-legend-re-imagined-casting-announced-winter-king-coming-itvx

@emjric glad you enjoyed it! #BernardCornwell is one of my favorite authors. In addition to the #lastkingdom series, I am enjoying his Rebel books and his books about the #AmericanRevolution. He lives part-time in #Charleston so I’ve gotten to meet him—swell guy!
