I had a great first day at the #REBOUND2026 conference about research culture. It was somewhat refreshing to discuss such a complex topic with experts from various fields and scientific backgrounds. I had the impression that the debate has progressed substantially during the last couple of years. However, HR and #ResearchPolicy was missing. One expert said: „it’s so common and as if there are parallel universes when it comes to questions of #ScienceReform, #OpenScience, and #ResearchAssessment.
But let’s see what comes today!
