9/ @gereonas schreibt Kommentar zu #LetzteGeneration und #BerlinMarathon. Ja, er hat Recht: Zum Glück hat es mit Ankleben nicht geklappt. Weiß nicht, ob sie das vorhatten. Die Farbe macht den Protest sichtbar und in die #Tagesschau haben sie es auch geschafft. Hab gestern noch drüber nachgedacht, ob die Aktion trotz Nichtblockade eine Weltbestzeit von #EliudKipchoge verhindert hat, denn es lenkt ja ab. Ich weiß nicht, was die Veranstalter*innen den Top-Läufern gesagt haben, ob die Läufer*innen von der Ankündigung wussten. Und man weiß ja auch nicht, ob an den anderen 41 Kilometern der Strecke noch was passiert.

Nochmal zu den Protesten allgemein: Die LG + Friends protestieren ja bei allem und jedem: Tennis, Fußball, Marathon, Tour de France. Die Größe der Ereignisses bestimmt die Medienwirksamkeit. Also wird sich sicher niemand bei Drittliegaspielen mit Kabelbinder ans Tor binden. Das Ziel ist, wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe, uns die tägliche Verdrängung unmöglich zu machen.

Ansonsten sagt Gereon Asmuth das, was ich unter 7/ auch gesagt habe: „Dabei ist in Zeiten der Klimakrise auch Nachdenken über solche Megaevents unumgänglich. Zwar werden Läu­fe­r:in­nen neuerdings an der Strecke mit wiederverwertbaren Plastikbechern versorgt. Aber gleicht das die CO2-Emissionen, die durch die Anreise der Massen aus aller Welt nach Berlin entstehen, etwa aus?“

Ich stand an der Strecke und habe mich mit einem anderen Fotografen unterhalten und der meinte: „Und dieser ganze Sondermüll, den die anhaben.“ Ich habe die Läufer*innen in Schutz genommen. 1) #Laufen ist gut für die Gesundheit. 2) Sonst hätten sie halt was anderes an. Dadurch, dass sie Kleidungsstück 2 anhaben, nutzt sich Kleidungsstück 1 weniger ab. So lange man die Sportkleidung nicht dreimal im Jahr neu kauft, ist das zu rechtfertigen.

Aber aus dem taz-Beitrag habe ich nun gelernt, dass die Turnschuhe von #TigstAssefa 40% leichter sind als bisherige, dass sie 500€ kosten und dass sie exakt einmal (!!!!) verwendbar sind. Es gibt immer einen Kompromiss zwischen Elastizität, Gewicht und Abnutzung, aber das ist einfach pervers. Und schön für #impossibleIsNothing, denn die können nächstes Jahr wieder neue Trunschuhe verkaufen.

Die #LetzteGeneration hat den ökologischen #Fußabdruck der Läufer*innen sichtbar gemacht.

Ein Läufer sagte zu einem anderen: „Sie wollen das Klima verbessern.“

Das ist nicht so ganz richtig. Sie wollen, dass andere aufhören, unsere Lebensgrundlagen weiter zu zerstören.

1/ Ich wollte mal zum #BerlinMarathon.

Nach drei Monaten #Corona habe ich mir gesagt, dass kann so nicht weitergehen und habe angefangen zu laufen. 10km. Beim #Klimastreik von #FridaysForFuture im September stand ich auf der Siegessäule und wollte deren Fahrraddemo fotografieren. Hab mich mit einem Schweizer Paar unterhalten, die mich gefragt haben, ob das da unten die Ersatzveranstaltung des Berlin-Marathons wäre. Die war aber einen Tag später: die 2:03:01 challenge. Die Idee war, dass jede*r die Weltbestzeit lief und dann guckte, welche Distanz er geschafft hatte. Ich war immer eine Stunde gelaufen, hab mich dann aber entschieden, es mal zu versuchen. Waren dann 18,2 km.

Naja, die Stars (#EliudKipchoge) waren schnell durch. Ich wollte zu meinem Rad gehen und weiterfahren zu anderen Punkten an der Strecke, da ...
