    I woke up somewhat anxious and sad, my usual oh-woe-is-me-why-didn't-I-spend-my-life-differently.

    But I've actually managed to self-soothe myself, and get my head into a more responsible and self-loving state. I'm definitely learning how to do this (finally!... after, what, decades...). Better late than never.

    The past is past. I can't change it. And honestly a lot of my life was pretty damn good.

    And I choose to be present, here, now, and make choices in this moment that take me on the path I desire.

  16. You know... i have been fortunate to have almost 1/3 of my age pre-internet, and i did use #tech as it came to document a lot of naturalist stuff, even diving into wildlife photography, but...

    Tech has a way of truncating experiences. I learned this because I grew up without it. Taking pictures or video, at least for me, flattens the experience because a part of me is handling the documentation.
