Unfortunately, the weather yesterday was rather poor, & I was two months too late for the perfect sunset at the Bentenjima Tori.
In December & January, the sun sets directly inside the Tori.
Nevertheless, I had a lovely day and simply relaxed there for a while.
This place at Bentenjima is the last connection between the sea & lake Hamana.
During the high tide the Tori stands in the sea while during low tide you can see that it's on a small island. -
