Chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) adalah gangguan neurodegeneratif yang terjadi akibat cedera otak berulang, sering dijumpai pada atlet olahraga kontak. Gejala meliputi gangguan suasana hati, perilaku, dan kognisi. Diagnosis hanya dapat dipastikan setelah kematian. Pencegahan melalui pengurangan benturan kepala adalah satu-satunya langkah yang efektif saat ini. -
