My late father worked for a regional credit union, as a board member, and then as head of marketing. He always referred to #BendigoBank as a scam institution; one which pretended to be local, pitched itself as "community owned" when it was neither of those things, and would cause actual local, community owned credit unions to fold, or sell to them.
Well, now those communities are being reaped. #AusPol

I don't know what's going on with Bendigo Bank in recent years. I thought we just had the worst branch in the country, but I suspect the fish rots from the head.
If they're not supporting our communities, then why bother? I approached our branch several times to get a better idea of what projects they are currently supporting, and they just never got back to us.

Deeply symbolic that in my #news feed this morning closure of 20 branches of #BendigoBank but opening of a similar number of new #Maccas outlets planned. [For context, I have eaten their ‘food’ twice in 22 years.]

#BendigoBank managed to screw up calculating the correct interest on our savings accounts.
You'd think calculating interest would be something a bank would have figured out by now..
They have at least acknowledged they stuffed it up and are sorting it out.

The landing and product pages were CloudGlare, and its seems CloudGlare palm the hapless Aussie to (sc)amazon, to watch and control the actual #banking portal part of the site.

Just thinking out loud, imagine if govts made a new law that all CAGEFAM products must be labelled with their respective CAGEFAM influences.
So products had to be labelled as say #FacebookWhatsApp when reporting on that offering, Amazon Soundcloud, Cloudflare #CryptoDotCom, Google #Wix, Google #Nintendo, Akamai/Cloudflare #Steam, Amazon TIME Magazine, Cloudflare #BendigoBank, Cloudflare #Patreon… etc.
We could go on for a while.
We should see the encircling #technoFascist state.
