I will be celebrating the high day tomorrow on the 3rd in the very early morning. Work has been massively stressful and I needed Friday and Saturday to rest and stare at my ceiling.

Well, I am feeling strangely calm and somewhat refreshed atm. I had to pick up some meds for our dog at the veterinarian's office, but I encountered no asshats on the road today. I did some #FirstFridayArtWalk posts and looked at some amazing #MastoArt (#CuratedBrowsing), chilled out with kitty in the backyard, listened to birds (and not gunshots or leaf blowers), and actually relaxed! It was a different #Beltaine than usual, but It was just what I needed!

Celebrating the small victories today, on this gorgeous #Beltaine. I heard ONE gunshot this week (and it might have been an echo from across the river), and that was it, which means the "No Hunting" sign is proving to be a deterrent. Also, the new fencing seems to be working around my home garden... Squash plants are still there!

TBH, I'm burned out on protesting atm. Our dog is having surgery next week, and I need to finish getting things ready for her recovery, so I'm staying close to home this Friday. Also working on my garden and promoting #FirstFridayArtWalk. *If* things are prepared enough at home, I plan on spending Sunday with IRL friends who I haven't seen in months at a #Beltaine ceremony at a local beach. I need a recharge, and art, friends, rituals, gardening, and quality posting is part of that for me. (I'm still going to post for #SolarPunkSunday -- it just might be mostly Saturday).

na festiwalu tu, było sporo kobitek poprzebieranych klimatowo, w średnio-starszym wieku. i to nie że z jakichś bractw wikińskich, celtyckich, wiedźmich, artystów, rękodzielników - normalne babcie czy ciocie na luziku przyjechały imprezować nadejście lata.
barwne kiecki, jakieś narzutki, wianki i hejo do tańca czy bębna
to nieco inaczej niż w pl, gdzie chęci do strojów mają głównie młodzi... już nie chciałam być nachalna z fotami, ale serio duużo ich było. fajnie :) -
