I’m very sore today. Just standing & feeding cans into the recycle machine started up my knees, back & shoulder pain. 😖

Back home now. Sat in the car for 20 minutes - undoing my seatbelt didn’t help the shoulder pain.

Pain meds have been taken.

I know my steroids for #BellsPalsy are bad for me in the long run - but I miss them masking all my joint, spinal & shoulder pain. ☹️

Yes, these days I practically rattle from all the meds I’m on.

A coincidence? Do #steroids stop #joint & #arthritic #pain?

I know that my Dr said they weakened my #immunesystem, so I guess they might be why I still have #Covid.

#Dinner tonight? Comfort food for my better half - anything with barley or #PotatoGems.
So it’s a weird stew of pork sausages, tomatoes, carrots, peas, gems & barley.

My half of the bowl will definitely include some #WorcestershireSauce

The weird thing with my current #health - before the #BellsPalsy started & then after I got #Covid - my knees were a constant pain that limited my movement.

Since the combination of Bell’s & Covid my knees haven’t given me any trouble at all.

Maybe the pain is there but is being masked somehow? Very odd.

Popping pain meds & trying for a nap.

My immune system is compromised due to the meds I’m taking for my #BellsPalsy.

Last Friday my better half goes to take her sister home after a week in hospital & returns home Sunday.

This morning my better half is testing #positive for #Covid.

Oh joy.

I’m back. You probably didn’t notice my absence but I’ve not been on for awhile.

Reason? #BellsPalsy hit hard! Despite my Dr giving me 10 days of steroids & thinking we’d be able to stop it at the symptoms - nope.

Needed a stronger, longer dose to do that.

So I woke to one half paralysed face & the dreaded nerve pain behind the ear.

Then I had to make an appointment to see the Dr again, so no relief at all until last Friday.

I mostly knocked myself out until I got meds again.

I’m back. You probably didn’t notice my absence but I’ve not been on for awhile.

I woke at 6am this morning, then took 2 more!

Hopefully taking them much earlier will let me get some sleep tonight.

I woke at 6am this morning, then took 2 more!

I occasionally get a #BellsPalsy moment if I’m stressed or if I’m sick - it’s usually something like my lips doing a Mexican wave for a few seconds, then it’s gone.

Yesterday was full half face paralysis plus the sharp pain behind my ear (which was my first symptom 8 years ago) & both went on for a few minutes.

I’ll feed the boys then have a quiet day & see how it goes. No ‘choke harvesting.

I got home as fast as possible - took some nerve meds & slept until about 9pm.

I had a late “#dinner” of 2 tomatoes & then noticed that my large #GoalZero #powerstation had died sometime during the day.

It’s main duty was running my bedside fridge/freezer, the fan when it’s hot & charging my tech devices.

I switched the fridge to a smaller power station & fell asleep again. *sigh*
