Updated 6:06 PM EDT, July 25, 2024PARIS (AP) — "Carrying backpacks and small children, hundreds of people sleeping on the streets of Paris climbed aboard buses surrounded by armed police on Thursday, the latest group of migrants and homeless people to be driven out of the city ahead of the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics."

"The #BellRiots were seen in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine season 3. In the two-part episode, 'Past Tense,' Sisko, Dr. Julian Bashir (Alexander Siddig), and Jadzia Dax (Terry Farrell) were sent to 2024 as a result of a transporter accident. They landed in San Francisco, where Sisko and Bashir, who had no identification in the 21st century, were sent to Sanctuary District A, a walled-off area where thousands of the city's homeless and unemployed were banished."
