🚨🆕 Dion #Beljo is only on Croatia’s standby list for the World Cup despite recording 38 goals and 6 assists across all competitions for Dinamo Zagreb.
His agent Srdjan Lakic (ROOF) tells me for Sky: “Dion’s dominance made the league look weak and scoring 31 goals seem easy - but of course it is not. Also, 5 goals in 8 Europa League matches is a strong return. I think there should have been room for him as well, but the national coach made his decision and we have to move on. Life goes on.”

🚨🟢 Rapid Wien are currently not planning to activate the option to buy for Dion #Beljo, which stands at around €7–9m. The reason: there is currently no buyer willing to offer a higher transfer fee.
Nevertheless, #Rapid are very pleased with his performances – 19 goals and five assists.
For now, Beljo is set to return to FC Augsburg. The club is pinning its hopes on new head coach Sandro Wagner. A fresh start under Wagner at #FCA is not out of the question for Beljo.

⚠️ As previously revealed, Rapid plan to activate their option to buy for around €7–9m and sell him on for a profit, with a potential transfer fee of €10–12m.
There is interest from clubs in Italy, Spain, and the Benelux region. Bologna, Ajax, Hoffenheim, and Anderlecht have already shown interest in the past.
