@RidersBlock Bela is wonderful in this - almost over the top, but it works in context. IMO "Son of Frankenstein" is all-in-all the best of the Universal Pictures Frankenstein series.

After talking w/my boss abt using Gemini at work, (she knows my opinions on it) I decided to poke at it. Show me a photo of a young #BelaLugosi, I asked. It did so. I then asked it to colorize that pic. It did not and every time I asked it to try again, it continued to fail and I got various versions of some other guy. But I'm supposed to trust it to help me do my job? #AISucks

Tonight's #movie was another one starring #BelaLugosi, 1933's The Death Kiss. It's a precode murder mystery that actually surprised us with the who the killer is. It's not bad. Kinda slow in that old-fashioned way. David Manners actually has more to do in this film than he did in Dracula. Neat that, besides Lugosi and Manners, the film also included Dracula veteran Edward Van Sloan. The movie ad is a lot more revealing than anything in the film. 😀
