  2. Every time I run out of #vyvance I end up stressed out and barely able to accomplish the bare minimum that I expect from myself. I feel like I’m failing to meet others expectations. I don’t see how I’m going to accomplish a big task in time.

    Then I refill my prescription and it’s done in two days, way ahead of schedule. Thanks past me, you had a good foundation laid out. Just needed some help to finish and polish it.

    I have been stuggling to show myself compassion. Instead, I tend to blame myself when things don't go well and have unreasonable expectations. It's a mindset I need to break by taking some small steps, and part of that is talking about it.

  12. @queerfemmedyke The trick is to try again, and kindly forgive yourself that it didn't went perfectly the last time. #BeKindToYourself . Eventually, it catches on.

    Also, pay attention to the structure of the tasks on your list. Some of them might merit pre-structuring. Some ways of structuring tasks work better than others. This might not carry over to autism in a neat way, but for ADHD, I like to isolate everything that requires executive function, and divide the rest into small, atomic, hard-to-distract-from items thatI can individually check off so I don't have to go back to them. Some trial and error would probably be a good idea.
