ok i think BSM 24 is ready to go steep in a drawer for a little bit

its a weird shift from the keep-the-plates-spinning farce writing of the first two parts of this (ridiculously long) novel and now writing with an eye to actually resolving sammy's problems in the not-too-distant future (while still getting her into stupid funny situations).

Okay folks, I'm breaking some of my own rules, here.

I usually give each chapter at least a week in a drawer but I'm leaving for Montreal and major abdominal surgery tomorrow, and a stupid panicked voice in the back of my head wants me to leave things (somewhat) finished.

So here is the last chapter of Being Samantha Masters' Book Two (out of three). There's even a little something in here that looks a little like dramatic resolution.
