I recently caught up with all of the TTRPG actual-play podcasts I've been listening to, and decided to *finally*, after *years* of intending to check it out, started listening to Beyond the Bastards.

It's a great show, and I started with their episodes about AI, Epstein, Zuckerberg, and Thiel, but when I hit the episode on Daryl Gates I discovered the huge trend of police coverage they've done, and threw together a playlist of all of their police and policing-related episodes. That playlist has ~~44~~ 66 (edit: my podcasting app removed episodes that I'd listened to) episodes.

They are *all* worth listening to. Some of it very difficult to listen to.

This morning, @groswald alerted me to the fact that the subject of today's BTB is "our old pal Benny Shaps" and that reminded me of the period when @groswald was our housemate and sometimes I'd come home to him and @jdekg in the midst of a conversation where they'd both adopt the voice and persona of Ben Shapiro. Cherished memories.
