Our new research topic, ‘#Coevolution of #social #communication systems and social #complexity’, invites submissions that summarise how these two aspects interact. In particular, we wish to explore the coevolutionary dynamics between social communication systems and the complexity of social organisation across the tree of life.

📝 Submissions are open until 31 January 2027 in the journal Frontiers in Ecology and Evolution.

📝 We have also set an interim deadline of 31 October 2026, by which you can send us an abstract of your manuscript before committing fully to writing a paper.
