There is probably a lot of stuff that could I add but I think I should just stop now.
So here it is, the final piece.
I really experimented and learned a lot while doing it. -
I wanted to have some of the pinkish blends in the strawberry and overall it's darker than I intended. Also it is a bit streaky. But on the other hand it's the first time I painted an area that's so big with alcohol markers (paper size is A4).

I find most of tutorials for alcohol markers a bit annoying because they are like: You'll need these 5 kinds of red and these 5 kinds of orange and this 5 kinds of yellow etc.
I'm a beginner and wanted to try it out and only got a small set of colors?!

I got some golden acrylic paint last year and never tried it out. 😱
I'm back at watercolor tutorials and found a perfect one to try the acrylic paint. Look how shiny it is. ✨
Maybe it's a bit too transparent for my taste, but I like it really much!Also I should really practice brush control, even though it's booooring. I clearly lack skills. 😅

Last week's class drawing! The assignment was "drapery" basically drawing cloth and folds. There were multiple suggestions on doing it. I went with hanging a towel from my cabinet door.

Continuing with some more bird art... Here's the Kererū, a species of pigeon native to New Zealand.
This was done, slowly with almost 5 hours put in to layer with different shades (from different brands) to add some more visual texture than just one solid shade.

Alright, tried my hand at another rendition of #Gandalf again.
Not perfect, not great, but I'm pretty happy that he's quite recognizable. You might even be able to guess at if he is Gandalf the Grey or the White in this one! Nose didn't want to cooperate with me, but it's not so bad that I'd redo it entirely.
