Today's #beercan #sailing race was the last for the spring. Spinnaker start and managed to time it well. Only 8 s late but by far the best start. Managed to keep the pace around an almost windward-leeward course to get a second. Classmate won on handicap, but we were 30 s before them in goal which counts 😁 Ranked second in series one point behind. #hlkk.

Really rainy day #sailing #beercan today. Two races today, both short windward-leeward courses. 5-7 kn wind. And rain. It would have been easy to say no thanks today (many did) but I'm glad that all three in the boat (me included) showed up at the boat with a as happy face as could be expected. A 2nd and 1st today, which brings up on shared first place in the #hlkk ranking. Did I mentioned it rained? A little disappointing fourth in today's #beercan #sailing #sailracing . A longer course and dying wind benefits the larger boats, and it'll equal out during the season. Three first in the ranking all on 9 points though, and we're third.
