"Kenneth Bloome," The judge banged his gavel, "this court orders you to pay child support to Vanessa Bloome, who is legally not your ex-wife on account of the annulment, starting immediately and with back payments."
"But your honor," Ken pleaded, " that baby can't possibly bee mine! It's clearly part bee! I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW THAT'S POSSIBLE!!"
The judge banged his gavel again, "Bees do not pay child support, and the number one priority of this court is that child support is paid!" He banged his gavel more, " I hereby declare that your entire net worth bee given to Vanessa and her new husband, Barry Benson Bee!"
"THAT BEE IS LIVING MY LIIIFE!!" Ken wailed at the top of his lungs, but somehow still impotently, as he fell to his knees, hands gripping the last of his hair, pulling for a moment then yanking it clean out.
"There will bee no emotional outbursts in my court, no matter how hard you're beeing cuckolded!" The judge banged his gavel again, "I hereby hold you in contempt! Bailiff, cuff that cuck!"
Ken continue to wail as his hands and feet were cuffed together behind his back, leaving him immobilized on the floor. That bee had taken everything from him, or so he thought...
He felt a buzzing in his pants, and looked down to see a small swarm of bees unzipping his pants. He heard one of them buzz up to his ear, and begin speaking calmly... It was Barry.
"You shouldn't have tried to swat me with that paper, Ken." Barry said with a smirk, "You should've known I was your better, should've known I would beecome a lawyer and do this to you. I'll bee taking your balls as part of the settlement, Ken. Both of them. They're mine now, that's the law."
"NOOOO!!" He screamed, squirming desperately, but it was no use.
He was just a little piss boy, a helpless cuckold against the indomitable bull that was Barry Bee Benson.
The last thing he heard as he was dragged away by the bees was a mild chuckle from the Bee Bull... "How do ya like that jazz?"

The East hive and the West hive on Friday. Some light colored and yellow pollen being found somewhere. I'm starting to see signs of yellow on some goldenrod so they'll be bringing that nectar in soon and fanning the cheesy socks smell out of the hives. 🧀🧦

The bees all eventually moved into the top box but I think there was some drift too and the bottom box got more active. The box has comb on all frames except 2 that are bare foundation so not much has to be done and I think there are enough bees they'll be ok before winter. There's lots of honey and pollen in the hive and they are finding pollen somewhere I've noticed since they were moved in plus I have a pollen patty in there.

so i just watched the bee movie again, and i'm just wondering wtf its message is about?
is it about how we can't change the system, that mind you forcibly separates the worker (the bee in this case) from the product of their labor in an exploitative way and makes them work until they literally die, and that any attempt to change it will have severe consequences that negatively affect everybody?
or is it about what would happen if jerry seinfield turned into a bee?

The bees in the nuc hives on this cool and windy Sunday morning that was 57F or 14C when the video was recorded. I think the plan is to move the green bees into a 10 frame deep, and give the white nuc a top box since they started with fewer bees. The queens have only been laying for a week to ten days (hopefully) so a couple of weeks will reveal the new activity.

The bees today. Very busy, pollen coming in, and the West hive having a traffic jam caused by a bunch of drones on the landing board.
I haven't seen any activity at the bait hive and the bees at the other empty hives seem to be off target and taking a break.

Bees bringing in the pollen on Saturday morning. I estimate between 100-120 bees per minute with pollen. That could be over 1.5 grams of pollen per minute or 500 grams in 6 hours. More than a pound of pollen and they work hours than that. That's based on them only carrying 15mg of pollen but I read they can carry 30mg.

Busy bees, April 4, 2025. Pollen going in and I see some drones at the Center hive. The hybrid willows are blooming and full of bees, and the Norway Maples, sarvis berries, peaches, and plum will be blooming in a few days probably.
