Okay, #fediverse - particularly the #lemmyverse or #lemmy users I should say:

Besides #Beehaw, what Lemmy platforms seek to uphold strict community guidelines - or which ones actually upholds the #CoC?

I've been on Beehaw for some time now, but I also think they may have been too overzealous regarding their blocking. Maybe I want something less strict and more permissive?

I'm considering making another Lemmy alt that is. Please advise.

@futurebird the contrast between #Twitter and #Mastodon is staggering.

I see some crowd overlap with #Threads and it's like a swarm of killer bees off in the horizon.

Oh sure, they might not be that close at the minute, but that could change drastically.

I'm also on #Beehaw, incidentally, because it's quite a nice, non-volatile link sharing community. I'm all a buzz about it.

Y’know, I really wanted to like #kbin, #beehaw and #lemmy, but they really are as toxic as Reddit - the gaming groups at least.

It would be nice to find a gaming group that’s not infected with assholes, but I feel like that’s asking too much, because Gamers are the worst.

Altho it’s not just the gaming groups. There’s a level of nastiness I wasn’t expecting going in after being on Mastodon. Mastodon has the HOA and Well Actually mansplainers, but some folks are just dicks on the #threadiverse.

I prefer #Beehaw (a #lemmy instance, reddit clone) to Mastodon It's easier to engage in #conversation there.

I think partly is because there's no #KeywordSearch (at least for local instances) in Mastodon yet, while most people coming from other social media platforms were used to not having hashtags for discoverability.

@melroy I wasn’t aware of this, but I had heard to be wary of where I made an account. I’m on #Beehaw and while I am hesitant to use software from developers like that, my experience on Beehaw has been positive.

I just tried out #Beehaw for the first time since getting an account, and I think I’m going to stick with #kbin. I understand why there are no downvotes, but I found myself missing it immediately upon reading a reply that I really disagreed with, but couldn’t downvote it. It seems like no downvote encourages artificial niceity. #threadiverse

I LOVE IT!

I guess this is due to an influx of new user who jumped ship as the third party apps have died.

I hope everyone trying Lemmy for the first time enjoys it and is able to understand federation without too many problems.

My main #fediverse fix, #Lemmy , has been getting the hug of death from the #redditmigration today.

I love the community over at #beehaw but it's been 502 errors 50% of the time on page loads all day 😭

There's always #mastodon though 😄

#Beehaw is still on an old version of #Lemmy so I can't use it with #jerboa . Kind of shows how Lemmy really isn't ready for the prime time yet if entire instances get cut off from app users with a major update.

As far as I know - the reason they are delaying is because Lemmy developers removed captchas from 0.18 which brings floods of more bots. Totally fair enough, but kind of a stupid decision? Especially with the bot issue the #Fediverse has at the moment.

Being #ADHD, I collect note taking apps. My favorite was Evernote, but as with all good things tech, it eventually went downhill. The phone app crashed constantly, they limited the number of devices..it just sucked.

I used Google Keep, OneNote, Simplenote, and could not get my head around Notion. Recently, I found a thread on #beehaw looking for a OneNote replacement. One of the suggestions was #Notesnook.

I just want to be with my people.
