#beegfs #HPC #storage If anyone is interested, here is a Libreoffice Draw diagram of our implementation of BeeGFS' buddy mirroring for fault tolerance. The only desire in the system is an appropriate reflection of available disk space; a mirror group is basically a RAID1, so two 100 TB targets (i.e. 305) isn't considered 200 TB, but 100 TB. A user issuing `du` wouldn't see a "true" reflection of disk space.
