The #kibbutz movement was built on a vision: universal values, solidarity, a person under their own vine and fig tree. In Tel Arad this year, inspectors made a 70-year-old Bedouin village tear down 40 of its own homes and uproot its last grapevine and fig tree, so the movement's first new kibbutz in decades can rise on the village's land.
