Instead of allowing Mergen to work with the #USattorney in #Minneapolis to investigate Ross, #DOJ has decided to investigate #ReneeGood & her partner, #BeccaGood, scrutinizing their possible ties to left-wing #protest groups. That decision prompted at least 6 senior prosecutors in the office to resign in protest.

Also today if I'm counting correctly a total of TEN Federal prosceutors resigned.

Four DOJ prosecutors resigned today and six US Attonery's Office Lawyers based in Minnesota also called it quits today.

They all say they have been asked to do unethical things. Like speed through the investigation into murderous cops Jonathan Ross or in the case of the US Atty's Office, inveistage Becca Good who survived the cop shooting.

Six Prosecutors Quit Over Push to Investigate #ICEShooting Victim’s Widow

Joseph H. Thompson, a career federal prosecutor who was the acting U.S. attorney for #Minnesota last year, was among those who resigned as the Justice Department sought to examine the woman’s supposed ties to #activist groups.

"Mr. Thompson’s resignation came after senior Justice Department officials pressed for a criminal investigation into the actions of the widow of #ReneeNicoleGood, the #Minneapolis woman killed by an #ICE agent on Wednesday.

"Mr. Thompson, 47, a career prosecutor, objected to that approach, as well as to the Justice Department’s refusal to include state officials in investigating whether the shooting itself was lawful, the people familiar with his decision said.

"The other senior career prosecutors who resigned include Harry Jacobs, Melinda Williams and Thomas Calhoun-Lopez. Mr. Jacobs had been Mr. Thompson’s deputy overseeing the fraud investigation, which began in 2022. Mr. Calhoun-Lopez was the chief of the violent and major crimes unit."
