You know what plot device I *hate*? When one of the main characters disappears for a year or three or five, usually during a fit of noble idiocy but often with no reasonable explanation & no info about where they went or why & no or little info on what prompted the character to come back.

And the character who stayed behind doesn't get mad or interrogate the person who left!

WHY????

@whoosh I'm really glad that you recommended #BecauseThisIsMyFirstLife because I'm enjoying it a lot. I really like that it presents a lot of the lows of love, as well as the highs. And, shows with strong #FemaleLeads are always a favourite for me!

I agree the middle couple is the best. In fact, I just started 3rd Charm because she's the lead there.

I loved her fierceness & his support, but he also told her the truth when it hurt. Very good!

3 adult relationships develop through the show. We see 3 women in different job situations being affected by the patriarchy. But we also get to see men oppose it. It is rare to see a woman being allowed to be smart, cute, sexy, strong, & determined - especially all in 1 character.

Unfortunately, there is 1 thing that ruined the flow toward the end. Overlooking that it was a good drama with some great messages.

Haha, it's a wonderful time of year to watch until you drop! I'm reading so many posts from folks who are ready for the work year to be done. I'm enjoying Matchmakers, Park's Marriage and Samdal-Ri.
