Another vulture species I love is the Egyptian vulture. These screengrabs are from a live stream of a nest in Bulgaria. These vultures are so unique with their bright yellow faces and their long head feathers sometimes stick right out.
They also have unique behaviour: they're known for the rare feat of tool use! They drop rocks on big eggs, like ostrich eggs, to break them open so they can eat them. So clever!
And these two love to strike funny poses on the live cam all the time.

They're also *huge* and the two pictured here (named Bones and Mountain girl) are super cuddly and love to nuzzle and preen each other. These two live at a rescue/conservation centre in Spain.
Bearded vultures are really endangered and lots of people are working hard to breed more of them. They often use puppets that look like the adults when humans have to feed the chicks, to make sure they don't imprint on the humans.
