Rode in the #RingofBeara2026 cycling sportive yesterday with a small group from the bike club. It was an absolute stunning day for a ride, and every one was in great spirits.
I finished the 140 km / 86 mile ride with some energy left over, which I couldn't say when I did the ride last year. Granted, we did have a few photo stops, a flat tire change, and stopped at all 3 food stops...

This poor crab was already dead but I was fascinated by its beautiful colours. The green were glittering and the yellow looked like pure gold. So wonderful patterns.

The Cable Car to Dursey Island from 1969 was under mainenance from April 2022 to 1st of June 2023. Now the farmer, cows, sheep, their feeding and the tourist can get to the island again. Brought a guest there yesterday 😊
